Privacy Policy

clipz ("the app") is made by Nikoloz Nutsubidze ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and your choices. We have no user accounts and we don't ask for your name, email or phone number.

Photos and prompts you use

When you create something, the photos you pick and any text prompt are sent through our server to AI partners that make the result, and are used only to create it:

• PixVerse: photo templates, video effects, image-to-video and text-to-video.
• WaveSpeed: runs models from ByteDance (Seedance, Seedream), Kuaishou (Kling), OpenAI (GPT Image) and its own face-swap tools.

The app asks for your permission before any photo is sent. We don't keep your photos on our server, we never sell them, and we never use them for advertising or to train AI models. Our partners store uploads temporarily to do the job (WaveSpeed keeps uploaded files for about 7 days) under their own privacy terms.

Your creations

Finished photos and videos are saved only on your phone, inside the app. Deleting a creation or the app removes them. Photos for a generation that is still running are kept on your phone until it finishes, then removed.

Anonymous usage data

The app creates a random anonymous ID (not Apple's advertising ID, not linked to you) and sends us:

• Template activity: likes, opens, generations, saves and shares, used to show what's trending.
• Search terms typed in Explore, with the number of results, used to see which templates people want.
• Reports you send about a result (the reason and the template), used to review and improve results.

We don't track you across other apps or websites, and the app has no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your card or payment details.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app tells you when a creation is ready. You can turn this off in iOS Settings.

Deleting your data

In the app, open Settings → Delete My Data. This deletes your creations on the phone and all the anonymous activity we store for your device. You can also email us at nickmailbox1986@gmail.com with the User ID shown in Settings.

Children

The app is not meant for children under 13. If you upload a photo of a minor, you confirm you're their parent or legal guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Important changes will also be shown in the app.
